Like the shadow of a tree, your influence falls where you may never be.
In March 2013, the St. Robert community lost a fellow parishioner, parent and friend to breast cancer. At the young age of 38, Angelique Allen left behind a loving family, including three children, Amber (Class of ’11), Gabi (6th grade) and Tre (3rd grade). In her honor, St. Robert has established the Angelique Allen Memorial Scholarship to benefit families, like the Allens, facing unexpected hardships.
Our goal for this scholarship is to find a way to keep Angelique with us; to
keep her spirit moving through us, touching her children and our future...
like the shadow of a great and powerful tree she can no longer be.
For 2013, we aim to raise $25,000 for the Angelique Allen Memorial Scholarship. Gabi and Tre Allen have been selected as our first recipients, and we will cover their tuition while at St. Robert. And in the spirit of Angelique, we hope to do the same in the future through this scholarship fund for other community members in need.
May He support us all the day long, till the shades lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done. There, in His mercy, may He give us a safe lodging, and a holy rest, and peace at last. AMEN.
Thank you in advance for your donation.
